  5. 1.    Lev. 23:22     23 [... edges of your field, or] gather [the gleanings
  6.             of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor
  7.             and the stranger: I the LORD [am]
  8. 2.            your God.
  9. 3.    Lev. 23:23-24     The LORD spoke to Moses saying:   24   Speak to the
  10.             Israelite people thus: In the seventh month
  11. 4.    Lev. 23:24    on the first day of the month, you shall observe
  12.             complete rest, a sacred occasion commemorated with
  13.             loud blasts. 
  14. 5.    Lev. 23:25       25   You shall not work at your occupations; and you
  15.             shall bring an offering by fire to the LORD.

  17. 6.    Lev. 23:26-27       26   The LORD spoke to Moses saying:    27   Mark, the                                            tenth day of this seventh month is the Day
  18. 7.    Lev. 23:27    of Atonement.  It shall be a sacred occasion for you:
  19.             you shall practice self-denial, and you shall bring
  20.             an offering
  21. 8.    Lev. 23:27-28    by fire to the LORD;    28   you shall do no work
  22.             throughout that day.  For
  23. 9.    Lev. 23:28-29    [it is a Day of Atonement on which] expiation is made
